Well, Fiona has certainly seen some interesting weather in her lifetime… A severe tornado warning where we had to go to the basement (granted, she was in utero, but still here…), 2 hurricanes, a massive snowstorm in October when she was two weeks old that knocked out power for 5 days, and now… a blizzard.
blast from the past— Hurricane Irene— August 2011
More oldies… October 2011 snowstorm when we had no power. Halloween by candlelight…
Grampy saved the day with a generator delivery!!!
And now, 15 months later, Blizzard 2013…
We had to dig a track in order to sled.
I love her in this snow suit. Getting her in and out of it, well, that’s another story.
Fi helped me take some snow measurement totals, but I don’t think she was too happy about it and I don’t think she sank down enough to be exactly accurate.
Now, we are just hoping the groundhog was correct this year and that spring is just around the corner. Can’t wait for some warm weather hikes and eventually swimming in the pool! All our lessons at the Y should pay off!
Adorable snowsuit pictures, Lin. “Ohhhh, the weather outside is frightful…” has certainly been the theme song for this year so far..You are “blossoming” nicely
